Ex-state Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D) holds a “narrow lead” over ‘10 AZ-03 candidate/ex-Paradise Valley Councilor Vernon Parker (R) “in a race that was still undecided at the end of election night.” Sinema “led by less than 2,200 votes at the end of the night.” With 98% of the precincts reporting, “she led Parker” 47.4% to 47.1%. Parker “was optimistic,” and said “he expected it to take more than a day to determine a winner.” Parker: “There are a lot of votes that have not been counted and we’re going to wait and see what the final count is. We’re very enthusiastic about people who voted today and we really believe that we’re going to prevail. It’s extremely doable” (Duda, Arizona Capitol Times, 11/7).
