Former Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land (R) is “opposing a resolution authorizing U.S. military force against Syria.” She sent out a statement Thursday saying President Obama “hasn’t made a compelling case to justify military intervention. Land says no one has shown the intervention is ‘vital to America’s national security interests.’” Rep. Gary Peters (D), “remains undecided on Syria. Peters says he takes the decision to use military force ‘very seriously’ and is reviewing classified intelligence and talking with experts and constituents.” (AP)

Land also “sent a fundraising email Thursday telling conservatives to ‘stand up to the president’ on Syria — an unusually partisan solicitation on an issue of national security that has divided the right.” (Politico)
