Pres­id­ent Obama be­lieves a new era of bi­par­tis­an co­oper­a­tion can be­gin. Now that the shut­down is over, he might be right… but prob­ably isn’t.

Plus, mem­bers of the House and Sen­ate aren’t the only ones oc­ca­sion­ally giv­en to spew­ing non­sense. Dur­ing the fi­nal debt ceil­ing vote, a House ste­no­graph­er took over the mi­cro­phone and began shout­ing about the Free Ma­sons, the Con­sti­tu­tion, and Je­sus Christ. She had to be dragged away, but the rest of the tea party were still al­lowed to re­main.
