Taxpayers Left in Limbo as Congress Mulls Renewing Extenders

Tax writers are pushing to renew a series of expired breaks known as extenders in the upcoming spending bill due Feb. 15. It’s a long shot, and taxpayers are still in the dark on the breaks even after filing season has started.
