State Sen. Sara Kyle (D), who considered a governor run in 2014, is considering running for the Senate.
Kyle: “I’m thinking about it, studying about it, working with people on it."
"Kyle has experience winning as a Democrat statewide, albeit 24 years ago. She was elected to the Public Service Commission in 1994, a year when Tennessee Democrats were swept in the three races at the top of the ticket, for U.S. Senate and governor.”
Kyle: "I know our state has changed from ’94 until now. We’ve become really red, but I think you’ll see that it’s swinging back.” (Nashville Post)
