Johnston to Make Decision on Gardner Challenge This Year

The former Democratic candidate for governor said he's "thinking seriously" about it.

Former state Sen. Mike Johnston (D), who unsuccessfully ran for governor this year, said Wednesday he is “thinking seriously about” challenging Sen. Cory Gardner (R) in 2020 and “will decide by the end of the year.” (Hotline reporting)

Johnston as early as August didn’t rule out a bid. (Westword)
