TX-07: A Public Policy Polling survey (Sept. 17-18; 562 RVs; +/- 4.1%), conducted for the Protect Our Care group, found trial attorney Lizzie Pannill Fletcher (D) leading Rep. John Culberson (R) 47-45 percent. Trump's approval rating was underwater by 3 points. (Texas Tribune)

TX-31: An internal poll (Sept. 16-20; 500 LVs; +/– 4.4%) conducted by Anzalone Liszt Grove Research for Air Force veteran MJ Hegar's (D) campaign found her trailing Rep. John Carter (R) 46-42 percent. Polling in July gave Carter a 9-point lead. The survey also found Hegar led among self-identified independents by 8 points. (release)
