First son Donald Trump Jr. will host a fundraiser in New York for state Attorney General Patrick Morrisey (R) with a host committee that includes former White House press secretary Sean Spicer, former Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller, America First Action Chairman Thomas O. Hicks Jr., and Republican strategist Arthur Schwartz. (CNBC)

The state Democratic Party announced Tuesday is putting up billboards and giving out hats and bumper stickers urging voters to “Ditch Mitch,” in reference to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. (release)

ALL COMES BACK TO TRUMP. “Republican operatives active in the West Virginia Senate race are hoping to undercut” Duty and Honor and Duty and Country’s “effectiveness by suggesting that their financial backing comes from Democratic donors who do not share Trump’s hawkish immigration agenda.” (Washington Examiner)

Duty and Country was funded entirely by out-of-state donors during the primary. Duty and Honor has not disclosed its donors.
