Two of the top Democratic candidates in the race to replace retiring Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D) declined to take a definitive stance on Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Executive Councillor Chris Pappas (D) and Iraq War veteran Maura Sullivan (D) gave noncommittal answers on whether they would vote for Pelosi for speaker.

Legal analyst Levi Sanders (D) and former Shea-Porter aide Naomi Andrews (D) also dodged the Pelosi question. But state Rep. Mindi Messmer (D), Rochester City Attorney Terence O’Rourke (D) and marketing executive Deaglan McEachern (D) all called for new leadership. (WMUR)
