Former New Hampshire Republican Party Vice Chairman Matt Mayberry won’t run for retiring Rep. Carol Shea-Porter’s (D) seat, citing a “great business endeavor” that arose for him. “Mayberry, 53, had been actively considering running for the seat since shortly after the November 2016 election and stepped up his activities after he decided in early 2017 not to run for the chairmanship of the NHGOP.” (WMUR)

State Sen. Andy Sanborn (R) and former South Hampton Police Chief Eddie Edwards (R) are the top GOP fundraisers in the race.
