Speaker Paul Ryan’s now-deleted tweet which touted a woman who got a $1.50 a week pay-increase from the GOP tax bill has brought a fundraising windfall to his opponent, ironworker Randy Bryce (D).

Bryce “asked donors to chip in $1.50 as a show of opposition to Ryan. Since then, he says he raised $130,109 from donors—roughly half of whom donated $1.50 to his campaign.” (Politico)
