LePage Not Closing Door on Bid

He said he's watching Brakey’s campaign.

Gov. Paul LePage (R) indicated he could reverse course and run for Senate, after previously saying he would not challenge Sen. Angus King (I).

“I’m going to watch what Eric Brakey’s doing and if he doesn’t start resonating pretty quick, there’s a possibility I might change my mind,” LePage said on WGAN radio Thursday morning.

“Brakey, of Auburn, is currently a member of the Maine Senate and announced his run in April.” (WMTW News 8)
