State Speak­er Richard Corcor­an (R) “has opened a new polit­ic­al com­mit­tee, Watch­dog PAC, that may or may not bank­roll his cam­paign for gov­ernor in 2018.” (Tampa Bay Times)

“Widely viewed as the GOP fron­trun­ner for gov­ernor in 2018,” state Ag­ri­cul­ture Com­mis­sion­er Adam Put­nam (R) “bashed a ma­jor con­ser­vat­ive edu­ca­tion bill on Tues­day, leav­ing in­siders won­der­ing if he’ll run as a cent­rist vul­ner­able to a primary chal­lenge from a po­ten­tial rival like … Corcor­an.” (Politico)
