VoteVets PAC and AFSCME are combining for a $1.5 million TV buy, two run for the next two weeks. The ad features an Afghanistan veteran, identified as Ryan Hector, who says he volunteered to serve after 9/11, along with Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander (D).

Hector continues: “Here’s what Roy Blunt did after 9/11. He snuck a provision into a homeland security bill to help a tobacco company. His wife and son were lobbyists for that company. And executives there gave him tens of thousands of dollars.” (release)
