Three Polls Show Portman Up Double Digits

The senator’s latest TV ad features his wife, Jane.

A Quinnipiac University poll (Sept. 27- Oct. 2, 497 LVs, +/- 4.4%) found Sen. Rob Portman (R) leading former Gov. Ted Strickland (D) deadlocked at 55-38%. The same poll showed Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton 47-42%. (release)

A Monmouth University poll (Oct. 1-4, 405 LVs, +/- 4.9%) found Portman leading Strickland 54-39%. The same poll showed Clinton at 44% and Trump at 42%. (release)

An Anzalone Liszt Grove (D) poll (Sept. 27-Oct. 2, 800 LVs) for the Ohio Education Association found Portman leading 51-39%. Portman’s favorability was 42-27%, Strickland’s was 32-43%. (Daily Kos)
