The Miami Sun Sentinel editorial board, which earlier this week declined to endorse either candidate in the GOP primary, backed Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-18) over Rep. Alan Grayson (D-09) in the August 30 primary.

The board praised Murphy as “congenial,” with “a reputation as someone who can work with Republicans in Congress” as well as a “solid Democratic agenda.” It also criticized him for “ethical blemishes,” such as an “exaggerated” resume of “academic and employment achievements.” (Miami Sun Sentinel)
