RGA Reserves $3M in TV Time for Final Weeks

That matches what they spent on the race for the whole 2014 cycle.

The Re­pub­lic­an Gov­ernors As­so­ci­ation “on Monday re­served $3 mil­lion in tele­vi­sion ad­vert­ising time for the fi­nal six weeks of the fall cam­paign. All of the spend­ing is in the Bo­ston me­dia mar­ket. … The RGA said it spent $3 mil­lion in New Hamp­shire dur­ing the 2014 gov­ernor’s race.”

RGA spokes­man Jon Thompson: “The RGA is on of­fense in 2016, and we are com­mit­ted to ex­pand­ing our already strong ma­jor­ity of GOP gov­ernors in key Demo­crat-held states.”

Mean­while, Manchester May­or Ted Gat­sas (R) “held the first fun­draiser of his cam­paign on Wed­nes­day night at the Bed­ford Vil­lage Inn. About 75 at­ten­ded the $1,000-a-per­son event.” (WMUR-TV)
