House Majority PAC Buys $6.2 Million in Additional Air Time

House Ma­jor­ity PAC re­served about $6.2 mil­lion in TV time in 22 me­dia mar­kets in a second round of pur­chases. It has so far re­served a total of about $12.7 mil­lion in 36 mar­kets.

The group’s biggest pur­chase this round was $800,000 in the Sac­ra­mento mar­ket, which in­cludes Rep. Ami Be­ra’s (D-CA 07) dis­trict, where he faces a chal­lenge from former Rep. Doug Ose (R).

Over­all, House Ma­jor­ity PAC has planned to spend the most, $1.1 mil­lion, in New York City, where former New York City Coun­cil­man Domen­ic Rec­chia (D-NY 11) is chal­len­ging Rep. Mi­chael Grimm (R), and where Rep. Tim Bish­op (D-NY 01) will face either state Sen. Lee Zeld­in (R) or former SEC pro­sec­utor George Demos (R). (re­lease)
