Don’t Be Frank

Aug. 6, 2014, 4:30 a.m.

Today is 90 days from Election Day, which means members of Congress are forbidden from sending franked mail (and other mass communications) to their constituents until after voting has finished. That prevents members from sending out any more campaign-style or -relevant mail, but at least that will keep issues like Julia Brownley’s mailer mistake from popping up again anytime soon.
