The Eastern Shawnee Tribe and the Choctaw Nation leveraged COVID-19 dollars to address the mental-health toll from the pandemic. But has Congress done enough to help?

The Choctaw Nation Health Care Center is the hub of the Nation’s health care services. The hospital had to put in strict visitation guidelines that prohibited families from seeing loved ones during the COVID-19 pandemic.
