Sen. Dav­id Vit­ter, R-La., has placed a hold on the nom­in­a­tion of Eliza­beth Robin­son, who was ap­poin­ted by Pres­id­ent Obama to be un­der­sec­ret­ary for man­age­ment and per­form­ance at the En­ergy De­part­ment.

Vit­ter, re­ports Bloomberg’s Ari Nat­ter, ex­pressed con­cern that Robin­son im­prop­erly used private emails dur­ing her time as NASA’s chief fin­an­cial of­ficer.
