Hunter spent campaign dollars at amusement park

Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter's campaign, in a recent Federal Election Commission filing, reported paying hundreds of dollars to an amusement park and $2,000 to a company that flies drones, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Hunter and his wife are under a federal criminal investigation into misuse of campaign funds. His campaign is disputing the charges to the drone company.

CNN hosting Klobuchar town hall

Pete Giangreco, who was a top media and mail consultant for Barack Obama in 2008, has been consulting with Sen. Amy Klobuchar on her presidential bid, according to Hotline sources. Additionally, CNN will host a town hall with Klobuchar on Monday at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, moderated by Don Lemon. This will be her first trip to New Hampshire.

Kildee named DCCC's Heartland Engagement chair

Michigan Democratic Rep. Dan Kildee will serve as the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee's chair of Heartland Engagement for the 2020 cycle. He succeeds current DCCC Chair Cheri Bustos in the role.
