Dem Voter Registration Outpaces GOP by 2:1

Democrats have an advantage in NJ-02, NJ-03, and NJ-05.

“Democratic voter registration in New Jersey continues to outpace Republicans by a rate of nearly 2-1, according to the state Division of Elections. Since the start of the year, the state has added 9,859 Democrats and 5,750 Republicans. New Jersey has added 17,054 Democrats and 9,556 Republicans since the November 2018 mid-term election. That brings the total number of Democrats to 2,221,608 and increases their registration edge to 938,348.”

Breakdown by congressional district:

NJ-02 “has 16,437 more Democrats than Republicans.” NJ-03 has “12,125 more Democrats than Republicans.” NJ-05 has “3,927 more Democrats than Republicans.” NJ-07 “has 6,024 more Republicans than Democrats.” NJ-11 has “5,399 more Republicans than Democrats in the district.” (New Jersey Globe)
