The campaign manager for former state Rep. Joe Radinovich (D) "has called it quits, adding to a string of bad news for the campaign. Meredith Raimondi has confirmed ... that she is no longer with Radinovich’s campaign. Raimondi would not give any further details regarding her departure."

"Raimondi’s exit is another setback amidst a difficult week for Radinovich’s campaign." The DCCC canceled "$1.2 million in ads in the district, redirecting the funds to races that Democrats are more likely to win." (Alpha News)

The Cook Political Report moved the race from "Toss Up" to "Lean Republican." From Dave Wasserman: "Moreover, Republicans have a uniquely appealing nominee in" St. Louis County Commissioner Pete Stauber (R). And "Republican groups have effectively driven up" Radinovich's "negatives by attacking his tax votes in the legislature and his traffic record, including five suspended licenses and a drug paraphernalia arrest. Democrats' odds of holding the seat are further complicated by the presence of Independence Party nominee Skip Sandman on the ballot. In 2014, Sandman took four percent of the vote as the Green Party nominee here." (Cook Political Report)
