A TV ad and radio ad in Denham’s Central Valley district hit the congressman for voting to take away coverage for pre-existing conditions. And in Florida, the committee dropped a radio spot that accuses Curbelo of voting with President Trump 85 percent of the time and putting “at risk the Medicare and Social Security funding that we depend on for our future.” (releases)

The Congressional Leadership Fund launched new TV ads in five districts: KS-02, MN-08, IL-13, KY-06 and OH-01. Some highlights: In Kansas, the spot calls 2014 governor nominee Paul Davis (D) a “sleazy, lawyer lobbyist.” And in Kentucky, the PAC dropped two spots, one calling retired Marine fighter pilot Amy McGrath (D) “the Resistance’s candidate for Congress” and another tying her to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
And the Club for Growth is on the air in the open FL-15 with an ad accusing attorney Kristen Carlson (D) of fighting "to force the U.S. to import Brazilian orange juice despite the juice being contaminated with an FDA-banned chemical that can cause birth defects, liver damage, reproductive disorders, even death." The spot is backed by a $300,000 buy. State Rep Ross Spano (R) is Carlson's opponent. (release)
