Tester Ad Highlights Government Reform Efforts

A dark-money super PAC increased its buy against the Democrat.

Sen. Jon Tester’s (D) latest statewide TV ad highlights his status as “the first senator to post his Senate schedule online” and his fight “to require that all big government contracts are made public so Montanans know exactly how Washington is spending our money.”

Tester opens the ad by saying: “It’s not just how I look that makes me different from Washington. Since the day I got there, I fought to hold Congress accountable to us again.” (release)

Senate Reform Fund, a super PAC opposing Tester, increased its ad buy by $375,000, bringing its total spending to $1.1 million. (FEC)
