Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) officially launched her campaign for a full four-year term as governor Wednesday at the Clarke County Fairgrounds.

Reynolds: “The status quo isn’t where we stop. It’s where we turn the page and begin an even better chapter in Iowa’s history.”

Reynolds, who elevated from lieutenant governor in May after former Gov. Terry Branstad (R) was confirmed as Ambassador to China, faces a challenge from Cedar Rapids Mayor Ron Corbett (R). (Cedar Rapids Gazette)
