Concerned Veterans for America launched a $1.6 million TV buy against Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D), hitting her in two spots for her handling of the Tomah VA crisis. The ads charge that Baldwin sat on a report about problems at the facility, which was plagued by over-medication practices. (Hotline reporting)

The group has previously spent $1.5 million attacking Baldwin over the Tomah scandal.

SURVEY SAYS. Baldwin’s favorability rating is 37 percent, while her unfavorability rating is 39 percent, according to a new Marquette Law School poll (Feb. 25-March 1; 800 RVs; +/- 4.5%). The same survey found President Trump’s approval rating at 43 percent and disapproval rate at 50 percent. In the GOP primary (243 respondents; +/- 8.2%), management consultant Kevin Nicholson (R) drew 28 percent, while state Sen. Leah Vukmir (R) took 19 percent. (release)
