RI GOV: “Last year, $1.35 million of [Gov. Gina] Raimondo’s (D) fundraising haul came from donors with out-of-state addresses. … Less than half — $872,013 — came from donors based inside Rhode Island. … In California alone, Raimondo received donations up to the individual $1,000 limit from Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook HR head Lori Goler, film studio executive Jeffrey Katzenberg, Salesforce.com Senior VP Jim Green and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. She also received a $1,000 in-kind contribution from Casey Wasserman, a sports and entertainment talent agency executive and leader of Los Angeles’ Olympic organizing committee. … In New York, Raimondo raised $322,796 last year, including maximum donations from PayPal CEO Daniel Schulman and ‘super lawyer’ David Boies, who represented Rhode Island in its pension overhaul case.
