State Rep. Rick Saccone (R) released his first TV ad of the race, blasting Washington for its “partisan bickering” and touting his bipartisan work in the state legislature. It went on the air Wednesday.

Saccone: “I worked with Democrats and Republicans to close a loophole that had been preventing law enforcement from putting child predators behind bars. … That’s what happens when you put people ahead of politics.” (release)

Saccone had been slow to release an ad ahead of the March 13 special election to replace former Rep. Tim Murphy (R). Former federal prosecutor Conor Lamb (D) is already on the air and several GOP outside groups are dropping millions to boost Saccone. Both campaign committees are also airing ads.
