According to businessman Kevin Stitt’s (R) “campaign, three staffers were set to begin a conference call Monday when one of them noticed that four people were on the line. When the fourth person did not respond to a request for identification, the staffers terminated the call. One of the phone numbers on the call traced back to Keith Beall,” Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb’s campaign manager. “A document from the conference call vendor provided by the Stitt campaign shows that Beall joined about 45 seconds after the last Stitt staffer and was the last to disconnect, although all participants left the conference within a few seconds of each other.”

“Beall acknowledged that he joined the conference call but said he was ‘set up’ with a text message advising him that he was ‘late’ for a scheduled conference call. Beall said the text included the call-in number and the code to participate. Beall said he thought the call was for a matter unrelated to the campaign and that when he realized he was on a Stitt staff call he hung up.” (Tulsa World)
