Developer Tommy Ahlquist’s campaign has launched a website,, going after Lt. Gov. Brad Little (R) and Rep. Raul Labrador (R), “criticizing both as ‘professional politicians’ who ‘do the darndest things with your tax dollars.’ The site is … set up as a ‘quiz,’ asking people to take the quiz and decide which of the two is worse on three different topics: Pay, pay raises and missed votes; taxpayer-funded perks; and taxpayer-funded office spending.” (Spokane Spokesman-Review)

SMOKE, BUT NO FIRE. “Taso Kinnas, former treasurer for the Idahoans for Liberty PAC, has filed a complaint with the Idaho Secretary of State’s office about” Ahlquist’s campaign filings, since Ahlquist contributed over $40,000 to his own campaign “and then paid the same amount to a media company in Virginia on the same day.” But the Secretary of State’s “office says it looked at the issue long ago and concluded Ahlquist did nothing wrong.” (Spokane Spokesman-Review)
