A spokeswoman for state Auditor David Yost (R) said he will continue his campaign for the attorney generalship and not run in the special election to replace retiring Rep. Pat Tiberi (R). (Cleveland Plain-Dealer)

Tiberi will resign sometime before the end of his term, spurring a special election in his GOP-leaning district in suburban Columbus. Delaware County Prosecutor Carol O’Brien (R) has already entered the GOP primary, and likely won’t have the field to herself.
