In an MSNBC interview, Rep. Leonard Lance (R) “said he couldn’t rule out the idea that the Trump campaign, and possibly the president himself, colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election.”

Host Chris Hayes: “Can you definitively say … can you look into my eyes, the camera, your constituents and say, ‘I am 100 percent sure the president and his campaign did not engage in a criminal conspiracy with a foreign intelligence apparatus’?”

Lance: “No, I cannot. And that’s why I want to get to the bottom of it.” (Philadelphia Inquirer)

Hillary Clinton won the district by a point in 2016 and Lance already has a handful of challengers, including bank executive Linda Weber (D) and teacher Lisa Mandelblatt (D).
