Woodland Park Mayor Keith Kazmark (D) is considering a run against Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R). He send an Independence Day greeting card over the weekend “to elected officials, county committee members, and party leaders in and around” the district, “as well as state party leaders,” according to a source.

“Kazmark’s up for re-election in Woodland Park this year, but looks to be in fine shape, using the June 6th primary as an opportunity to test-drive his ability to get out the votes.” (InsiderNJ)

Navy helicopter pilot Mikie Sherrill (D) and former National Guard specialist Jack Gebbia (D) are in the race. National Democrats are eager to draft state Assemblyman John McKeon (D).
