Pritzker (D) “urged city ward and sub­urb­an town­ship com­mit­tee­men to side with him and against con­tenders who at­tack their rivals. The re­quests came as five can­did­ates for gov­ernor ap­peared be­fore the Cook County Demo­crat­ic or­gan­iz­a­tion ahead of a planned Au­gust en­dorse­ment.” (Chica­go Tribune)
