RGA Polit­ic­al Dir­ect­or Dave Rexrode at­ten­ded an in­form­al for­um Sunday of Re­pub­lic­an donors that in­cluded six po­ten­tial can­did­ates: State Sen. Mike Dun­leavy (R), former Lt. Gov. Loren Leman (R), former state Sens. Charlie Hug­gins (R) and John Binkley (R), busi­ness­men Scott Hawkins (R) and Bob Gil­lam (R). Rexrode “was meet­ing with sev­er­al can­did­ates sep­ar­ately dur­ing his two-day vis­it.”

“They all face the is­sue of hav­ing to quickly grow their name re­cog­ni­tion on a statewide basis, and they all face fun­drais­ing chal­lenges, in a state where max­im­um con­tri­bu­tions are capped at $500 per in­di­vidu­al.” (Must Read Alaska)
