Former state Com­merce Chief Joe Taylor (R) “said Wed­nes­day he will de­cide by June wheth­er he will run.”

“Mean­while, un­cer­tainty about the cor­rup­tion probe” im­plic­at­ing Richard Quinn, an aide to Gov. Henry Mc­Mas­ter (R) “is driv­ing buzz that oth­er would-be con­tenders may join the race. … S.C.
