Green Bay Area Catholic Education research officer Nicole Schneider (R), a potential challenger to Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D), “was targeted last week in an anonymous document accusing her of deleting social media posts critical of GOP candidates, including President … Trump, and supportive of Democrats.”

“The six-page paper, it turns out, was created by an official with American Majority and cited by Media Trackers — two conservative nonprofits with financial links to a mega-donor backing another possible Republican candidate,” management consultant Kevin Nicholson (R).

“Then late last week, someone secretly set up a website aimed at undermining Nicholson. The page includes an edited version of Nicholson’s speech to the Democratic National Convention in 2000 when, as the national head of the College Democrats of America, he spoke out in favor of abortion rights and endorsed Vice President Al Gore’s presidential bid.” (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)
