Rep. Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM 03), chair of the DCCC, "is confident his party will gain seats in the chamber next year and that the Republicans’ health care debacle will help Democrats get there."

Lujan "declined to specify how many seats the party could win, acknowledging that Democrats face a 'tough map' complicated by gerrymandering."

On former congressional staffer Jon Ossoff's (D) chances in the GA-06 special election, Lujan said, "Let’s see what happens. Just know that we’re on the ground working day in and day out." (Roll Call)
