Clark County Com­mis­sion Chair­man Steve Sis­ol­ak (D) “raked in $319,000 in late cam­paign dona­tions, ac­cord­ing to the cam­paign fin­ance re­port filed with the Nevada sec­ret­ary of state’s of­fice on Tues­day.” His “cof­fer is sit­ting at roughly $3.8 mil­lion go­ing for­ward, ac­cord­ing to cam­paign fin­ance re­ports.” Sis­ol­ak said “on Monday that he ex­pects to an­nounce his de­cision by April” re­gard­ing a po­ten­tial gubernat­ori­al bid. ADAM WHO? A new poll by the Mell­man Group (D) (Jan. 12-15; 600 LVs; +/-4%) found state At­tor­ney Gen­er­al Adam Lax­alt (R) with a 23-26% fa­vor­ab­il­ity rat­ing. “Lax­alt’s poll num­bers were slightly bet­ter with older men (36 to 26 per­cent) and more con­ser­vat­ive voters (37 to 18 per­cent), and worse with wo­men (18 to 27 per­cent), but a ma­jor­ity of all demo­graph­ic groups, in­clud­ing In­de­pend­ent voters, re­por­ted hav­ing no opin­ion of Lax­alt.” (Nevada In­de­pend­ent)
