The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is launching a $1 million TV ad boosting Sen. Roy Blunt (R) in all markets except St. Louis. The ad calls Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander (D) a “liberal trial lawyer” who benefited from other trial layers donating to his campaign, and “chose to side with trial lawyers” over Missouri farm families. (National Journal)

Blunt launched a new TV ad slamming Hillary Clinton’s campaign for pouring money into his race to assist Kander. The ad says that “when Hillary Clinton went shopping for help with her liberal agenda, her first stop was Jason Kander’s headquarters. … Clinton just gave half a million dollars to help Kander.” (release)

A new Senate Leadership Fund TV ad ties Kander to Clinton, saying they’re both “constantly running for office,” “voted against tax relief,” and support using tax dollars to help illegal immigrants. The ad goes on to say: “One Hillary in Washington would be bad enough. … Reject Jason Kander.” (release)

TALKING TRUMP. “Blunt said in a radio interview Friday that voter fraud is not likely to change the presidential election outcome,” parting with Trump on the issue. (CNN)

OPPO. Andy Blunt “is being paid $10,000 a month to manage his father’s re-election campaign. But the payments aren’t made directly to Andy Blunt. Instead … the incumbent’s campaign committee has paid $102,000 this year to Statehouse Strategies LLC, Andy Blunt’s lobbying company. The company, not the campaign, pays Andy Blunt.” (Kansas City Star)

ON THE ROAD AGAIN. “Vice President Joe Biden will be in St. Louis Friday to campaign for” Kander. (St. Louis Post Dispatch)
