The Americans for Prosperity is launching a seven-figure TV ad accusing former gubernatorial chief of staff Katie McGinty (D) of luring green-energy companies to Pennsylvania, then cashing as a board member for one of the companies after leaving office. It begins running Wednesday in six media markets on TV, along with a digital component.” (Hotline reporting)

MORE ADS. Toomey’s campaign also launched a new attack ad, saying that as Tom Wolf’s chief of staff, “McGinty pushed the biggest tax increase in decades.” The ad goes on to say that McGinty’s proposed “middle-class tax hikes” are “so big, even Hillary Clinton won’t go that far.” (release)

GOING POSTAL. “Women Vote!, EMILY’s List’s super PAC, is spending $750,000 on mailers attacking” Toomey “on abortion rights and Planned Parenthood.” The “six-piece mail program is micro-targeted to persuadable voters in the Philadelphia suburbs and will reach over 240,000 households.” (Politico)
