Are you a Justin Timberlake fan? Do you appreciate a good chat about lowering the nation’s deficit? Do you have a few thousand dollars to spare? Then Rep. Tom Price has just the event for you.

For the low, low price of $1,500 to $2,500, you can attend Justin Timberlake’s “20/20 Experience” show at the Verizon Center on Feb. 24 with the Georgia Republican, according to an invitation posted on the Sunlight Foundation’s website.

The Republican, who lost a contested race for conference chairman to Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers in 2012, is better known as a policy wonk and budget hawk than a pop-music fan.

But this isn’t the first time Price and pop culture have collided. Last year at a National Review breakfast, Price discussed his love of Taylor Swift and bemoaned her relationship with Conor Kennedy. “I prayed when she started dating a Kennedy that that would end,” Price said, according to BuzzFeed.

Price is hardly the first congressman to hold a concert fundraiser. The Verizon Center is a frequent host to members from both parties and their supporters. Sen. David Vitter, R-La., held a fundraiser there last summer, for example, inviting donors to join him for a Justin Bieber concert. Though, to be fair, he brought his kids.
