Georgia Mayor Stood Up to State's Anti-Immigrant Law

A small-town Republican honored for his unusual position urges Congress to act on immigration reform.

Paul Bridges is a Republican and the former mayor of Uvalda, Ga., a southeast Georgia town of nearly 600 people situated about two hours west of Savannah. In May, Mayor Bridges received a Profile in Courage Award from the John F. Kennedy Library.
