Ronald Brownstein, editorial director, Atlantic Media and Jordan Fabian, political editor Fusion, co-moderated the opening panel discussion that featured Dr. Anthony Carnevale, director and research professor, Center on Education and the Workforce, Georgetown University and Dr. Peggy McLeod, deputy vice president for education and workforce development, National Council of La Raza. Next, Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) provided keynote remarks.  National Journal

The event also gave occasion to discuss the results of the first College Board/National Journal Next America Poll. Ronald Brownstein presented key topline findings.   National Journal

Porterfield, president, Franklin & Marshall College, Dr. Timothy Renick, vice provost and chief enrollment officer, Georgia State University and Nina Rees, president and chief executive officer, National Alliance for Public Charter Schools.
