Some see it as a chance for the country to throw a party while others see it as a waste of resources.

Protests and cel­eb­ra­tions cap­ture the at­ten­tion of the world as Brazil hosts the 2014 World Cup. Some see it as a chance for the coun­try to show once again that it knows how to throw a party while oth­ers see it as a waste of re­sources when is­sues like poverty and edu­ca­tion need to be ad­dressed.
