To open the program, Ronald Brownstein, editorial director, Atlantic Media moderated an experts panel discussion entitled "Minority Workforce Development and Financial Empowerment" (from left to right): Mark Hugo Lopez of Pew Research Center, Dr. Margaret Simms of the Urban Institute, Stanley Litow of IBM and Dr. Maya Rockeymoore of the Center for Global Policy Solutions. Following his keynote remarks, Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) was joined onstage by Ron Brownstein, editorial director, Atlantic Media and Ray Suarez, host, "Inside Story," Al Jazeera America for a two-on-one moderated interview.  National Journal
Event underwriter Wells Fargo exclusively produced one portion of the event entitled "Making Small Business Work: Lessons Learned from the Community."** Georgette Dixon, senior vice president, director of National Partnerships, Government and Community Relations, Wells Fargo & Company moderated the discussion that featured (from left to right): Cy Richardson of the National Urban League and Javier Palomarez of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  **Please note, this portion of the program was exclusively produced by Wells Fargo. The event also featured a second experts panel entitled "Creating Opportunities for Minority Small Business Owners" that was moderated by National Journal's Janell Ross and Amy Sullivan. The panel featured the following experts (from left to right): Susan Au Allen, U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Chancee Lundy, Nspiregreen LLC, Consuella McCain, National Reinvestment Coalition and Dr. Winslow Sargeant, U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy.  National Journal
