Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and although Canadians don’t celebrate the holiday, they have a lot to be thankful for. Like the fact that Toronto’s City Council has finally voted to strip crack-smoking Mayor Rob Ford of his powers.

And in the United States, Obama ignores the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s historic Gettysburg Address. Meanwhile, the President is still advocating for 19th-century health care enrollment methods.

Plus, the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit 16,000 for the first time yesterday. Congratulations to the top five percent of Americans, who own 82 percent of the nation’s stocks— you’re even richer now!
