A new anonymous website, DumpTisei.com, “slammed” state Senate Min. Leader Richard Tisei (R) and urged Harvard Pilgrim Health Care CEO/ex-MA HHS/Finance sec. Charlie Baker (R) to “dump” Tisei as his running mate.

DumpTisei.com “criticizes” Tisei “as a pro-tax, social liberal” who will “hurt Baker’s chances.” Baker mgr Lenny Alcivar: “Considering the fiscal crisis that Charlie Baker and Richard Tisei will have to clean up, some lame, anonymous hack posting a Web site isn’t exactly a concern. (Tisei) is as fiscally conservative as you can get.”

Tisei “declined to comment” on the website. Tisei: “I’m rolling right now. I’ve made a bunch of calls and feedback is good.”

Red Mass blogger Rob Eno: “I was initially surprised by how controversial people thought (Baker’s) pick was, but after talking to a lot of people from different camps in the Republican party I think they’re surprised (Baker) chose someone so closely aligned with him” (Chabot, Boston Herald, 12/3).
